This version of the Checklist is in order of plants along the trail, from Highway S22 (Barrel Springs) to High Point on PCT Section A9, north to south.

The following gives some basic information about this checklist.

The column #Pls gives the minimum number of plants observed along or in the vicinity of the trail, up to a maximum of 99 plants. Some species were not seen by us, but were vouchered from the vicinity of this trail; they have a V in this column. Some species were seen only by RT and Shaun, with no abundance estimate made; these species have a RT in that column. These species usually have no precise mileage given, but are placed in approximately their correct order along the trail.
