This version of the Checklist gives the plant species from the trail in plant family order, with the Family and Scientific Name from the 2012 Second Edition Jepson Manual.

The columns with header B1a and B1b indicate whether each species was recorded in those segments of the trail, B1a from S22 to Eagle Rock, and B1b from Warner Springs to Eagle Rock. Some species seen only on trips prior to 29 October 2015 do not have a mark in either column, since those prior trips did not record locations of each species. This column has also not yet been updated from the last three field trips.

The #Pls column gives the minimum number of plants seen from all surveys as of 11/3/15, up to a maximum of 99 plants. If the column contains RT, the species was seen on the 4/29/12 survey, where no estimate of abundances was made. If the column contains FC, it was observed only by Fred Melgert and Carla Hoegen. If the column contains iNat, it was an iNaturalist observation of a species not recorded by anyone else. The column may also include a code indicating whether the species determination has any uncertainty associated with it, ranging from ~, a likely but not certain determination; or sp, just a guess as to the correct species.

An asterisk before the common name indicates a non-native species.
