The Flora of the PCT
B2, Highway 79 (Warner Springs fire station), to Highway 79 (underpass second crossing): Family Order FloraSee The Flora of the PCT: B2, Highway 79 (Warner Springs fire station), to Highway 79 (underpass second crossing) for an introduction to this checklist.
This version of the Checklist gives the plant species from the trail in plant family order, with the Family and Scientific Name from the 2012 Second Edition Jepson Manual.
See Information about the order in which the species are presented, and the links from the Scientific Name and Common Name.
The column ID indicates whether the species determination has any uncertainty associated with it, ranging from ~, a likely but not certain determination; or sp, just a guess as to the correct species.
The #Pls column gives the minimum number of plants seen on 10/20/15, from memory three days later, up to a maximum of 99 plants. A V in that column indicates a species vouchered from the trail that we have not yet observed. If the column is blank, the species was observed on the 4/20/14 survey, where no abundances were estimated.
An asterisk before the common name indicates a non-native species.
